In June 2012, Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge, which is designed and constructed by China Major Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. was awarded George. Richardson Prize in the 29th International Bridge Conferrence, which represents the outstanding achievement of bridge construction. During 2012, 11 Yangtze River Bridges and 6 Yellow River Bridges are being constructed by MBEC, among which 4 bridges were completed and opened to traffic and 8 main bridges were closed. At the meanwhile, MBEC successfully won the Contract Section CB05 of HongKong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, the biggest contract section of the bridge engineering for the whole Project. So far, the Company has constructed more than 1,600nos. bridges with miles of more than 1,600km and it has been the enterprise who constructs the most bridges around the world.
